The Newport County Council received a 2023 Meritorious Performance Award from National Navy League. This award recognizes the Best 10% of the Navy League Councils in the World. In addition, the Council received Silver Mackie Awards for its Website and Newsletters, awarded to the top 10% of Councils in these categories.
